Join us for a fun, two-hour painting and social event. Wine and sparkling cider will be served and are INCLUDED in the cost, as well as all art supplies necessary. Just bring your apron and your enthusiasm…absolutely no art experience necessary! Each of our events features a specific painting, which is posted on this site in advance, and all participants are walked through the creative process from beginning to end by a certified and experienced art teacher. We are a family-run business and pride ourselves on giving you individual attention and a great experience. Remember, although based on the instructor’s image, each participant’s final outcome will look unique. In this particular painting, the Northern Lights are optional…you may choose to paint a night sky only.
Payment is required in advance at the time of registration (Please note that online ticket sales end at 6:00 p.m. the day before the event in order to allow time for processing. Registrations after that time must be called in). Dates, times, images and locations are also posted on our Facebook page. Space is limited and the events fill up quickly, so early registration is encouraged. Plus, to better serve our creative community, we have decided to lower the age limit to 18 years old at our Drips and Drops events. Please know that anyone under the age of 21 needs to be accompanied by someone 21 or over, and all participants wanting to drink wine will need to provide photo ID. We look forward to painting with you!

The Vacaville Art League was formed in 1963 with over 100 people attending the first meeting. However, there was no facility to meet in, nor a place to display the artists’ work. In May of 1965, the City of Vacaville agreed to lease the circa 1880’s Segura home to the Art League, but the old Victorian needed much work. Many of the members rolled up their sleeves and prepared the building. Fundraising projects generated enough money for the materials needed. Local businesses generously gave many supplies. The Gallery's doors have remained open for over 50 years.
